It antiquely belonged to the Portinari family, of which Beatrice was a member, the young loved by Dante.
Inside it is necessary to indicate a fresco which dates back to the 14th century and represents the Madonna with the Holy Child and the Saints Giovanni Battista and Zanobi.
There is also a bust belonging to Cosimo I which dates back to the 16th century ascribed to Baccio Bandinelli.
