The Palazzo Vecchio, from which our delightful Florence accommodation takes its name, was the seat of political power in the old Florentine Repubblic.

If arriving by air or road, head to the city’s primary Railway Station. On exiting Santa Maria Novella Station, walk 100m to Piazza Adua, then take Via Cennini. Having only recently opened, many taxi drivers still don’t know exactly where we are and we don’t feature in any hotel guides before 2007, so it’s a good idea to make note of our address: Via Cennini 4, 50123 Florence, near Piazza Adua.
