Magnificently renovated in 2001, the hotel, which has an availability of 87 rooms and 10 Duplex Suites, is unique to Florence with its spacious, comfortable, elegant lobby and the wonderful panoramic views that can be seen from many rooms. Among those who, in the past, chose to stay in our 4 star hotel, we can mention such important personalities as Domenico Modugno, Marcello Mastroianni or François Mitterand and even now, thanks to continuous renewal, attention to detail and the warm friendliness of our whole staff, this hotel continues to be the choice of many famous people. In addition to being an ideal departure point for visits to the historic and artistic treasures of Florence and Tuscany, the Plaza Hotel Lucchesi is also located in the immediate vicinity of a number of world famous gourmet choices such as the Enoteca Pinchiorri (three stars in the Michelin guide), the restaurant Cibreo, the famous ice cream shop of Vivoli, or pastry shops like Rivoire and Dolci e Dolcezze. The hotel is also very close to the only Aveda Concept Salon in Florence, the "Contrasto" salon.
A few kilometers from the hotel, sports lovers can practice their favorite activities like golf (at the Circolo del Golf dell'Ugolino), horseback riding and tennis.
