At the Museo di Preistoria “Paolo Graziosi”, a temporary exhibition takes place “Prima di Firenze – Uomo e ambiente nella preistoria dell’area fiorentina”, realized with the collaboration of the Soprintendenza Archeologica per la Toscana and the Universities of Florence and Siena. The museum is on the first floor of the storic Oblate nunnery, built in 1946, by the Mayor Paolo Graziosi, an antropologist and paleontologist, which found many archeological finds. The aim of the exhibition is to make known the more ancient history of the Florentian territory before the Etruscans, in a chronological period, enclosed between the 8000 and the 1000 a. C. The exhibition, tthat will be open until the 31th December 2013, reveals, through the homemade  productions, the different people who lived in the Florentian territory. During the visit, morover the archeological finds, there are the rebuildings of many living settlements and funerary structures, and the moulds of the first fornace for the ceramic.

Moreover, there is the possibilità of educational visits, for the schools, throught the  fairy tales a nd the games, so that they could under stand this reality, through a manipolative experience, reproducing the ancient paintings; and by the observation, so that they could choose what to bring to live in an ancient period.
